Took part in the negotiation and sale of businesses, working with the CFO and General Counsel, as well as formulating and negotiating the transition services agreement that were needed to successfully complete the transaction.
Highlights
In March 2002 took part in the negotiation and sale of the Work ‘n Gear division to a private investor for approximately $10.0M.
In November 2000 took part in the negotiation and sale of the J. Baker footwear business to Footstar Inc. for approximately $58.0M. This represented the price paid for the assets of the footwear business.
In March 1997 took part in the sale of the Parade of Shoes division to Payless ShoeSource, Inc.
In March 1997 took part in the sale of the Shoe Corporation of America division to an entity formed by CHB Capital Partners of Denver, Colorado along with certain members of SCOA management.
