Born and raised in the Bronx, NY in a “blue collar” family. My father was a union construction worker, and my mother a homemaker. I was the first in my family to go to college, and worked through school. I started working at 19 while still going to school, starting out as the ‘lunch boy’ and working in the Finance Department at National Shoes.

Graduated from Suffolk University in 1983 with an MBA, specializing in Information Systems. Member of the Delta Mu Delta Honor Society. Did this while working full time at J. Baker Inc. and attending school at night.

Graduated from The City College of New York in 1978 with a BA in Political Science. Worked part time with National Shoes while going to school.

The loves of my life, are my wife and my two children. My other passions include, going to the gym, and rooting hard for the Yankee’s, and the New York Giants.
